Morning Mick and Everyone. Rain here too and the Half-Invisibility Cloak is on the world outside. This means I can just about tell where the other side of the loch is. Every now and then the slosh of a vehicle through the huge puddles on the shore road. And the thrush is shouting as usual smile

Raining, dull and miserable. A great day for painting the kitchen!

Morning all and Mick.

Thatbags Your description of where you live sounds lovely.

It's damp and grey in the Thames Valley.

Missing my 2 GSs of 3 and 1 who have just left after a week with us. Exhausting, fab week but it's lovely to have a lie in with Gransnet and a cuppa (and my snoring hubby).smile

Raining here too which means I am going to have to put my sitting room back to rights after the decorator finished yesterday. I am not looking forward to ironing the curtains - 7' long and 3 widths wide.

NanKate Sat 10-May-14 07:58:08

Looking forward to ironing Tiggypiro sit down immediately and take a sedative, you must be sickening for something !confused

Lona Sat 10-May-14 08:15:56

Morning all sunshine we've got big puddles but the sun is shining! It won't last hmm

NanKate Put your specs on, Tiggy isn't looking forward to ironing at all! grin

Good morning all!

It's not raining here in North Leicestershire at the moment but it poured overnight and the forecast is not good! sad.

Next door had two huge trees taken down yesterday which kept youngest DGS mesmerized for ages. It has made a big difference to the light in our tiny garden so we were looking forward to enjoying a sunny day. Hopefully we will get some sunshine soon!

Enjoy your days everyone!

Morning all from Bradford, the sun is shining at the moment, but the wind is getting up and there will be showers most of the day. So looks like indoor jobs today, and catching up on GN, when its all done. Have a good day. smile.

Rain here too on the North East coast. I can't see the sea it is so grey and matches the colour of the sky. Fog horn blasting away too!

Have a good Saturday everyone.

PRINTMISS Sat 10-May-14 08:51:51

Good morning all, damp here, and breezy, not sure what the weather will be like for the rest of the day. We are off to Amberley Museum for a short while. It is their Printing Weekend there, and since we have been involved with the print shop since about 1994, we like to support these special weekends. Can't do the long hours we once did, but at least I can talk to folk (blind them with my vast knowledgegrin). Enjoy your days.

It's pretty vile here too. We are supposed to be going round reclamation yards this afternoon to find old scaffold boards and pamments, to make my veg garden into one with lots of raised beds, but DBH is starting to shiver dramatically as he looks out of the window and hint at watching cricket instead.

ninathenana Sat 10-May-14 09:50:57

Morning all.
Grey showery start here in N.Kent. I think that's how it will stay.

I'm feeling guilty as DGS#1 rang and asked to spend the day with nannie and grandad, I fobbed him off as we had DGS#2 all day yesterday then DD and #1 came for dinner and both DGS were like tornadoes until 8.30 so need a quiet day.

dustyangel Sat 10-May-14 09:56:23

Morning all, it's warm and sunny here, a few hazy clouds on the horizon.
Having determined to clear out at least one box of papers this morning, I wonder why I started cleaning the birdbath instead. wink sunshine

Have a good day everyone.

henetha Sat 10-May-14 11:24:55

Sunny but showery in south Devon. Flew back from Germany yesterday so must do some chores today.

AlieOxon Sat 10-May-14 13:38:44

Preparing to wash sheets - stripped the bed - and it's raining. Grr.

Aka Sat 10-May-14 13:50:22

Our younger generation are taking part in the Moonwalk tonight, 26 miles wearing bras for cancer charities. Let's hope the rain holds off between 11.00pm and daybreak.

I am now breaking open the wine (it will be better than a sedative Nan) as I am sure I deserve it. Those b****y curtains (and the linings) have taken me 3 hours to iron and re-hang. I don't wash them very often !!

Nonu Sat 10-May-14 17:03:31

TIGGY-------------- Cheers, I am having a LITTLE libation myself whilst the curry is bubbling away !

grin

Aka Sat 10-May-14 17:25:24

kittylester Sat 10-May-14 18:17:04

Me too, while DH walks to the village to collect our curry! smilewine
