Good morning. Looking sunnier here in Warwickshire.

Good morning so far!
Just relaxing before my dgd is dropped off for the day, as she is not too well.
Hopefully that means she won't get every single toy/book/Lego out and strew them over the floor, within the first ten minutes!

But I'm not holding my breath

Good morning everyone. We have had heavy rain all night here on the North East coast but it feels very mild. Not a very good forecast for the weekend either. Never mind. Have a Good Friday everyone.

Enjoy the calm before the storm Lona from experience just the sight of her grandma will encourage a dramatic recovery and before you know it the Lego will be everywhere! Happy days.

It is not raining in North Leicestershire at the moment but I don't expect that to last!

All I have planned this morning is a trip into town and then a visit to Mum this afternoon.

Good morning, decidedly damp here. I'm working this morning then a play at Opera House so not too disappointed by the weather. But big preparations have been going on in the village where I'm temporarily living for the May Queen procession tomorrow, I do hope theyre not rained off. Good morning all, a much better morning this morning than yesterday. Not a lot planned, so we shall see what develops today, it really is time I took the vacuum cleaner out of the cupboard! Enjoy your days.

The sun is out at the moment, but it was dull and overcast ten minutes ago and there's black clouds on the horizon heading this way at speed. We're decorating (about time) but it seems he's never been happy with my ability to 'cut in' so I'm only allowed to wash down the walls. What a shame!

The sun is out in East Sussex and for some strange reason BBC1 is showing the BBC World service news rather than Breakfast TV. IS IT ME.

No Brenda, it caught me out too. Thought my TV had gremlins. Have littlest GS being dropped off this morning, and nephew and his OH here till this evening, after a night at the theatre last night to see Derren Brown. The man is mind blowing. Have a good day.

Cold, dark, heavy showers. I thought I had dreamt about thunder and lightning but when I woke up it was raining so heavily that I realised that it might not have been a dream. Sure enough, the weather app on my phone said 'thunderstorm'.

BBC hhad to evacuate studio due to fire alarm. Brain can't cope early in the morning

I really shouldn't post in a hurry

I don't know what it was doing in the night here but it must have been rough.
Empty water but bowled over, and a plastic plant cover (folding, light and rather neat I thought, from the 99p shop) has vanished altogether from the garden! I thought I had it in a very sheltered place but obviously I was wrong....it has flown.
Now dull and drippy.

The builder's merchants arrived at an ungodly hour this morning (7.30), and got me out of bed with their delivery . Now just have to wait for "the men" to turn up......

Good morning, grey and wet today. Lunch out in Durham.

A bright and blustery day here in Devon; Theseus has gone for a long walk. He has been ambling along the quay or the seafront with me, but needs a real walk as well!

I am esconsed in the conservatory, which is beautifully warm, and trying to catch up on some Rotary work. Sitting up at a desk is not comfortable as yet, so I am sort of working sideways at the laptop.

Mixed here. White horses in the channel. Not a good day for dinghy sailing

Quite bright here, lovely day for himself to clean the windowsills[which he INSISTS on doing]
