How do I contact the powers that be. I had a post deleted some time ago because of my comments on a certain poster. There is a live thread at the moment where, in my opinion, there are some very offensive comments, and jet, they are allowed to be printed.
I think we all know who I'm talking about. Please respond GN.

For padding Ipads that think they can predict what you are saying..

Elegran Tue 06-May-14 00:18:11

No, it had made it into "padding". I remember thinking that was a useful adjective.

Or somebody reported the wrong post. grin grin

Ana Mon 05-May-14 23:21:40

I remember, jingl. Your second post simply pointed out that your Kindle Fire had changed 'sodding' into 'saddened'.

Must admit I thought they'd deleted the wrong post by accident! grin

Soutra Mon 05-May-14 23:17:37

What is the point of "stirring the pot?" Let it go.

rosequartz Mon 05-May-14 23:12:10

Well, if I told you it would be deleted!

Dragonfly1 Mon 05-May-14 22:17:42

Mine are practising that accusatory glare, rose.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 05-May-14 22:15:50

"cocktail"???!!!

Flip me! Another world. hmmt

rosequartz Mon 05-May-14 21:01:58

I wish I could get into my size 14 jeans - they are glaring balefully at me when I open the wardrobe - complete with their 'new' labels still attached

Dragonfly1 Mon 05-May-14 20:16:47

But oh so ruddy fattening!

Ana Mon 05-May-14 20:13:42

Sorry! grin

But still probably better for us, in moderation, than cake!

Dragonfly1 Mon 05-May-14 20:12:09

You really shouldn't have mentioned cheese, Ana. Now I've got to eat a chunk, even though I've just got in from a meal out with the kids and am stuffed. This is why my size 14 jeans are getting tight. Too much cheese.

glassortwo Mon 05-May-14 20:08:59

Cake I can do without, but dont tempt me with a cheese scone.

Ana Mon 05-May-14 20:02:44

But you can't live on cupcake alone! It has to be a brew for me, and perhaps some cheese...

baubles Mon 05-May-14 19:48:00

JulieGransnet cupcake works for me smile.

Nelliemoser Mon 05-May-14 18:51:13

Tea is the only drink to offer me comfort. A nice beer or G&T is good but its not soothing like a nice cup of tea. It's probably to do with the British rituals of tea drinking, but it really works for me.

rosequartz Mon 05-May-14 18:02:46

Although DD1 made me a nice hot toddy of lemon, honey and hot water with cinnamon when I thought a cold was imminent. Recommended for any time!

rosequartz Mon 05-May-14 18:00:03

There is nothing better than a cup of ordinary strong tea (with milk)
I can't face the day without one.

I may go and have another one while I cook.

JulieGransnet (GNHQ) Mon 05-May-14 17:53:43

Hot chocolate? Coffee? Tea? Alcohol free cocktail? smile Personally, I'd just have cupcake

baubles Mon 05-May-14 17:44:17

Well one would certainly hurt me!

harrigran Mon 05-May-14 17:34:43

Please don't encourage people to drink alcohol, I hate it when people say to me "go on one won't hurt you " How do they know one won't hurt me ?

rosequartz Mon 05-May-14 16:39:41

It was too hot in the shops. I don't enjoy shopping much but it is DH's birthday soon and this is the first chance I have had to go. Why are so many people dragging small children around the shops on a sunny Bank holiday? Surely they could find something better to do with them?

Now I am having a nice brew - too early for alcohol!
Although perhaps a wine might help enlighten me as well, baubles.

Hope all is quiet on the front.
