Grey here but gardener is mowing and (hopefully) digging a bean trench...

Car has gone to the garage - I haven't paid the last bill as it came back running badly - so I hope they find that they did something!

Good morning, grey and damp here again. Rest day today before I meet my friend for tea tonight.
DD on the 6am flight and she was at her desk in Brussels at 10am, so pleased she no longer has to travel via Heathrow

Hoping I can cut the grass this morning before the rain sets in. Grass is as high as an elephants eye (Oklahoma).
Feeling good as p.c cured of gremlns by DS yesterday. It had 66 bits of malware! All gone now.... yippee!

I'm a bit stiff around the knees after a sleepover with my little dgd. We have piggybacks

Lazy day today though, thank goodness.

So far so good - hazy sunshine here in NE Cheshire.

(I much preferred horse muck heaps - could get quite carried away with the neatness of my muck heap!)

My goodness Bags, you put me to shame. I will sort of my compost bins!

'Mornin' All. A bit dull here today after yesterday getting out sunny and warm. Went for a sail yesterday - so we won't be doing much today - knees, backs and hips! I should be sorting our compost heap and DH should be doing a bit of decorating. Perhaps when / if the painkillers work!

printmiss, garden is three-quarters of an acre. Composting takes quite a long time because of cool, damp climate here. I'm mixing several large 'year' piles into one very large heap. We put all kitchen veg waste on the compost heaps as well as garden stuff, plus we had chickens so there was a lot of the wood-shaving bedding we used for them, plus their compost-activating waste . I love compost. Can you tell?

galen has had family visiting this weekend. I think she is OK otherwise.

Good morning all, dull and not sure this morning weather wise, a bit like me. You seem to have an awful lot of compost thatbags, what size garden to you have? Surely Galen did not get upset, do so hope not, and that if she is not well, then she soon recovers. We are out in the car for the first time since my husbands hernia repair, and it is his first time out for a fortnight, just wish I could get him to use his legs and walk occasionally. Enjoy your days.

Clear and bright this morning, after all the rain yesterday. Ground too soggy to work in the veg. patch.

Morning all. Woken up so stiff and achey! Getting worse every day, one if these days I'll be completely rigid. DGS2 has come back from hols poorly so I'm waiting to hear how he is this morning. Kitty, I know Galen said she had a tummy bug last week...

Not sure what weather we'll get today, nor am I sure whether I'm fighting off a bug or a compost-shovelling strain. Whichever, I wish it would bugger off.

So I can carry on shovelling compost. Still got a ton to do. No, not a literal ton, just a ton.
