Hi Mike and all.

Hope you had a good day in Wales yesterday Mick.

All sunny and bright in the Thames Valley too.

Good morning everyone. Sunny in Somerset but not for me,; I have the job of setting the house to rights now the decorating is finished. Love the carpet. Palm Sunday at church though before the work begins.

NanKate Sun 13-Apr-14 07:50:28

Isn't nice Deb when you are pleased with some new acquisition such as your new carpet ?

We changed our old 70s kitchen into a modern day version last year and I stand and look at it each morning, when making the tea, thinking how lucky and blessed I am to have such a nice place to live. I hope we have many more years here.

Good morning all. Looks as though our week of lovely weather is at an end - raining and thundery in Malta today. Think I might tackle the dreaded kitchen cupboards as DH at work all day.

Hope you all have a good Sunday sunshine

Good morning all, bit overcast this morning but brightness promised. Might potter in the garden later but finger still bandaged so a bit handicapped. Enjoy your days everyone

Mornin' all.
Bright and sunny here. Should have family visit today!

Garden not at its best but many flowerings - forsythia, magnolia, plum and pear trees out so lloks good.

Bright and sunny in Warwick. Donning the rubber gloves, wellies and digging out the Jeyes Fluid to clean the greenhouse.

That should unblock the sinuses hmm

Good morning everyone. Lots of sunshine this morning. We're off to the coast today with fancy french tarts, champagne, a baguette and cheese - it's our 40th wedding anniversary. Couldn't wish for more than to be by the wide open sea. sunshine

ninathenana Sun 13-Apr-14 08:52:46

Morning all.
Bright start but still a little chilly in N.Kent
DH's birthday today so the family are coming for roast lunch. That's after he and I have visited a large local antiques fare. DH and I love doing this.

A lovely day in NW London. Sun is shining. I am going to get rid of all the stray and broken flower pots and all the other bits and pieces that have found their way into the garden but should be in the bin for pick up tomorrow. I got the weed killer out yesterday and today I will be heaving bags of gravel and laying it around the garden shed. There is not enough space for my body which is a minor problem. My throwing skills will come into force. That is it in theory.

Good morning all,a sunny morn in Loughborough

Oldgreymare Sun 13-Apr-14 09:56:46

Lovely here too, just East of Debn
Day of preps for me too, first of Easter visitors arrive tomorrow, I say arrive, we have to drive 2 hours to collect them (going N) after DH has routine venesection (sp) at 8:30 (Salisbury an hour S!) complicated or what?

harrigran Sun 13-Apr-14 10:16:52

Good morning, sunny and windy up north. Start of a busy week, childcare on Monday and Tuesday and picking up sister and BIL from airport for their two weeks in the UK.
Happy Ruby Anniversary ffin, enjoy flowers

Sunny and bright in south Devon today. Ought to do some gardening,
but catching up with online stuff first. Dinner at DS's this evening.

dustyangel Sun 13-Apr-14 11:58:13

Good morning ,it's a lovely day here. There's a band of cloud over the coast but up here in the hills it's sunny and bright.

Happy Anniversary ffin. I've just been admiring our Winter Jasmine which was given to us 7 years ago (in March) and is a mass of flowers now.
Have a lovely day. flowers

thatbags Sun 13-Apr-14 18:37:26

Just seen this, ffinn. I'm glad you had a lovely day smile

dustyangel Sun 13-Apr-14 18:50:44

Just glanced back at my post this morning and realised I'd left something out. The only reason I mentioned our Jasmine was because it was a gift on our 40th wedding anniversary. blush

NanKate Sun 13-Apr-14 18:50:53

Brilliant Ffinn so pleased you had such a good Ruby celebration.

We are coming up to our 43rd and NEARLY everyone said it wouldn't last. I am so pleased we proved them wrong.

My dear late Mum was one of the doubters but as her last years arrived she said to me 'he wouldn't have been for me, but I can see he makes you happy' I wanted to weep with gratitude that she had said this.

Sorry I have gone on about myself when it is your DAY. Hope you have some lovely pics to remind yourself of today.

Glad you had a good day ffin.

OMG I am so tired and sore back, but with daughter and her boyfriend have go a whole lot done to this house!
Hoovered, put new loo seat on, painted the porch roof, put a pane in the greenhouse - and an offer to put the laminate stored under my bed onto the bathroom floor where it was intended for....and looked at old photos and ate Irish Stew.....whew.

ffinnochio Sun 13-Apr-14 20:52:10

Thanks all smile. Now I'm off to bed.
After your day Alie, I expect you'll also be off to bed soon.
