She's just a young thing, jingl! Not even 60 yet, I'm sure.
kitty commented that she doesn't 'know' the more recent posters as she did do when we all first started out, and she thinks that's why she doesn't post as much now. I think that's what it is with me, too. Not at all the same, I know, but when we moved up to Scotland in the 70's it was to a brand-new 'estate'. All the houses were new and in an area where there had been no previous homes, therefore all the residents were (mainly) also new to each other. We built up a really good relationship with a largish group, and are still friends today, though we've all moved on from there. As other residents moved in to the houses that were vacated, the friendships didn't build the same.
It's still important though, to continue to add in our two-penn'orth, isn't it - because we don't just want to fade away.....
.....or the 'newer' posters won't know who/what shaped Gransnet at its start
