Fancy writing a group limerick ?

(And I thought nobody had noticed, AO. I wonder if the Threadmistress would agree to take things to a new level with alphabetic story limericks? That would be a hoot! Over to you, NanKate.)

Between us we make lots of loot.

So's my wife - have you met 'er?

I'm infinitely better

I'm sure to give you the boot!

But I am quite often dreadfully pissed.

I'm certainly slicker

'I bet I am quicker

Challenged Marco the cheeky confusionist

Houdini the handsome illusionist.

Made up of Ben, Den, Jen and Pen.

But was saved by a church choir

She sank in a quagmire.

She peddled quite fast cross the fen.

So grabbing her bicycle then

(Just a forty two second cross there)

Oops!

Leering and acting uncouth.

Who said, "Madam, you're very aloof!"

And saw a huge Pole

She peered out the hole

Where a horse had put it's great hoof.

The hut had a hole in the roof
