Brenda I'm really glad that you and the other volunteers have found more work in a hospice shop that obviously has more sense than the one you left.

It is bright and sunny again today, I haven't been out yet because I've stiffened up again overnight. I need to go and have a potter instead of sitting here enjoying your company.

Brenda do try Colpermine which are peppermint type digestion capsules which I buy at Boots. They have revolutionised by gippy tum. They are just pure peppermint and were recommended to my DIL by the doctor.

Good morning everyone and congratulations MrsM. it's amazing how I have come to rely on this thread so much so I had to check if it was perhaps 1st April

Congratulations to all new grandparents everywhere.
Cloudy and calm in East Sussex. I had a lovely meal out last night in a pub in Burwash Weald with my ex work colleagues. We all left the hospice shop together but miss each other so have meals together. I start at a new Hospice shop on Thursday as do six others from previous shop.
The only problem from such a delightful meal last night is my digestion today is a little delicate!

Good morning everyone, and congratulations MrsM. I was a bit confused by Micks's first post post, but then I usually am in the morning, and it is just nice to say hello, whatever the day. A bit grey here this morning, and off to the hospital with the other half to see what can be done about his hernia. It really is a shame, because last year he was unable to play bowls because of his heart problems, (now sorted) and was so looking forward to doing so this year, when this hernia showed up. Never mind, he can come and watch me, and tell me where I go wrong (I am a better player than he is!) Enjoy your days.

A grey start to the day here in North Leicestershire but we are promised a nice day later.

Today I am making gf cakes for DSiL's staff who have a really manic time in the run up to the budget and my cakes are supposed to be a reward but, luckily DD3 is decorating them! . Then I will be going to see mum. Last time I was there she told me that her daughter was dead!!

My new grandaughter was born in the early hours! Woo-Hoo That's doubled my tally I'm not really sure what else is happening or if it matters
