What's your prudery?

A few years ago there was a fashion where I live of bare pregnant bellies being fully exposed at the first sign of warm weather.Worse when covered in stretch marks. Call me old fashioned if you like. The girl was usually arm in arm with a man with a smug grin on his face as if saying ''I did this, aren't I clever?''
Yes yes to little girls with sexy slogans on tee shirts. Especially when accompanied by the parent/parents who allowed them to be worn.
Men showing their bum cracks.
Women in tight pale coloured leggings.

Personally can't stand nosiness - or prurience.

I had no idea how much of a prude I was until I read this and realised that I hate nearly all of them.

Oh God! I wouldn't do it if we had guests!

I don't much like the sight of my reflection in my birthday suit, but at least I live alone. If I have guests, I wouldn't inflict that image on them, though I think it might have appealed to the late Lucien Freud!

oh Jings happy to discuss. You do what you like. I couldn't because it would put everyone off their breakfast! Or lunch, or supper for that matter. Thank goodness the airing cupboard is next to the bathroom but a pity about the long, uncurtained window opposite so still need to be covered up

When the children were little, it wasn't a big deal. If they happened to see me getting dressed that was ok, but I didn't deliberately parade around with nothing on, IYSWIM.

I leave my dressing gown in the bedroom. Never take it in the bathroom.

How did you feel about letting your children see you naked (when they were little)?

What about if the phone rang just when you were about to step into the bbc path? And the phone was downstairs. Would you bother with a dressing gown, a towel, or nothing? While you had a conversation.

No. I would put my dressing gown on first.

Only me and him in the house, and he's seen it all before...

But if, say, you forgot a towel or something that was downstairs, would you nip down from the bathroom to get it? Just shouting out to people to look away if they did n't want to see you in all your glory. And nothing else?
