If you don't want to say where you live just give an area. I always say the Thames Valley. This gives us all a picture of the weather in the UK and beyond.

Sunny and warm here today.
It's DH's birthday today and this afternoon we are going to a party for a friend who is sadly returning to UK. As I know that the hostess is planning to celebrate DH's birthday as well, she has offered us a bed for the night so we don't have to worry about driving home.

We are downtown so pretty close to the centre. I'm not sure if I like it or not, to be honest. It certainly is different though! I'm also feeling very sad as I've had bad news from my sister to say her cancer has returned, so I'm not really in the best frame of mind to enjoy anything. Am trying to keep cheerful for everyone else's sakes, but it's hard when your heart is breaking

Pouring down here in New Orleans with thunderstorms promised for later. Doesn't bode well for our long drive back to DD1's in Fort Walton Beach

Lovely day here, but have a lot to do indoors. Will have to venture out into the garden though, so au revoir.

Lovely warm day in this part of East Sussex. I went to the Knitting and stitching show at Olympia yesterday. Well worth the effort. Bought some wool for the next knitting project.
The next craft show is at the Excell Centre At the beginning of April.
Satuday in the wee hours, unable to sleep I bought a new phone through eBay. DH will say " you don't need that". But when has need had to do with anything.

Cold and grey start to the day here - I'm hoping things will improve later.

I have been sitting under grey Cheshire skies and it did not look very promising but a small patches of blue are showing.

We are going for a walk along the prom later in this lovely DGS wants to learn to ride his bike with no stableizers (sp) brings back memories of doing the same with DD and DS

Lovely here and we even got a mention on the national weather forecast with the phrase '..possibly up to 18C' That would be wonderful. I hope everyone has a great day
