It was wonderful. I know many people have done the other two, but if you knew the way I was dragged up, they are miraculous to me! I wonder what things other people have done, that they never thought they would?

There's only one of those I'm jealous of, KatyK. I did actually see the Beatles when they came to Hull, but you couldn't hear them.

I thought I would risk it anyway! I am not a boaster and as I have said on GN before, I had a terrible childhood and many rotten things happen to me over the years (as have many of us) not much to boast about really. So this isn't a boast, it's a 'isn't it wonderful that these nice things could happen to someone like me'

3 things I have done which I never thought I would (apart from the obvious like having a lovely family and grandchild)

Sat on stage with the Beatles while they sang some of their hits grin
Taken a gondola ride down the Grand Canal in Venice
Been to a garden party at Buckingham palace.
