Bright and sunny here. Nearly packed and ready for our first few days off in the caravan. Not too far as I'm doing the towing [shaky writing] in preparation for my caravan manoeuvring course next week.

It's a bit grey in North Leicestershire but hopefully it will be sunny later!

Today is DGS1's 7th birthday party so I will be off to Derby to help supervise 14 boys! Then back home for and steak and chips!

The sun is shining here in Devon, and the water is glinting in the sun. Lovely.

Promise of another sunny day here in South Staffs, which is good in one way because it means I can get on with some gardening, and not so good in that I can get on with some gardening...... The spirit is very willing but the muscles and joints are shrieking in alarm at the prospect.

Grey sky and very windy but not too cold. I don't like the wind so will spend the afternoon making soup and cleaning bathrooms. I wasn't going to clean the showerheads until somebody mentioned black gunge yuck.

The sun is lovely here now but why does MrL feel it necessary to keep asking me whether the garden table looks good 'here' or 'here' or 'on the top patio' especially as I am trying to make GF lemon meringue cupcakes for the first time? It was his fault I forgot the second lot of batter

They taste all right though!!
