Loading my shopping into the boot, I managed to thump my head on the locking mechanism on the boot lid. I hope no-one in the car park heard what I said. Now there's a little 'egg' just on my hair line. I hope I don't take after my dad whose head was always covered with cuts and grazes for the same reason.

I'll try and get a plug in for GN as well.

The only problem is, I've never been able to find the silver travel radio show! Does anyone know when it's on and what channel?
I presume it's recorded.

Hi everyone.
Came back, the sun came out - and went down.

Just had a really nice neighbourly visit from Ian and daughter Hailey, across the road, making sure Dave had done something about the hole in the hedge.
So I showed them and also showed them the back of next door's house (which of course they had never seen)
.....the living room window has large holes in it and I can't imagine how anyone keeps warm. And the weirdest thing to me is that they don't put lights on at night. I find this creepy.

Feeling less shaky today but tired. Relaxing again now.

I've found out its on Fridays at 6 pm on age uk. You can only get it on dab radio in,London and Yorkshire? But if you follow the link you can listen on your computer. I would think GNHQ can do a link for us?

AlieO It was kind of your neighbour to visit and ask after your health and such. The house next door sounds like a peculiar and spooky place. Just the type of property that you could write about in a thriller.

And yes...the word I was searching my memory bank for was indeed -haar It's a funny old day in bonnie Kintyre. Lots of heavy grey cloud and a very strong wind. We've been to Campbeltown...one of the windiest towns [methinks] in the whole wide world. As we were climbing the steps into the library, a gust almost knocked me off my feet.

Charleygirl I really do not mind ironing. It's mildly therapeutic. The same pal is giving one of her annual curry parties tomorrow. For 36 guests. A few come from Edinburgh...staying over night in her boarding house. Pal was a Captain in the Catering Corps. Nothing ever puts her into a spin [which is where I'd be with the notion of so many people to feed]. She cooks up to five different curries, one being for vegetarians. It will be a marvellous meal with lots of laughter as people catch up with each other. We're being collected by a couple of pals [one of which doesn't drink alcohol].

Gally Dreams really are peculiar. Mine most definitely are. As you say...because you felt good about being with John, it was a dream that you wanted to last for much longer. And then...it changed. I've been having what I call 'frustration dreams' recently. I have somewhere important to go, but from the moment I prepare myself for the journey, stuff gets in my way and it's as if I've an unwinnable battle on my hands.

No I just mentioned I went on one cruise with someone I had met on GN, which was a good forum I belonged to, or something like that!

Gally It is my opinion that when you can have a nice dream of someone you have lost, it is the beginning of your inner mind accepting that they are now gone, but that your internal image of them still has images that can be replayed and enjoyed. That is how mine have seemed to me, anyway.

I don't know how the merger with your mother came about, or the altzheimers which she never had, but the linkups in dreams are beyond logic. Just enjoy the bonus video replay, and hope that you will have more.

The clouds over the islands are the colour of lead. White-capped waves. A blustery wind. Just two days ago, we were having tea in the garden and the sun was shining from a cloudless sky.

I'm about to search through my wardrobe for a suitable outfit to wear for tomorrow's curry party. I may choose a straight, long, black skirt [Per Una] and a stylish stone top by Shepard's Linen Clothing...black tights and tartan ballerina shoes. Comfortable!

Hello Soop, I feel really down today lot of things going on in my life, so can I come over for a while. I would love to have Rory sit on my lap and purr. Jojo can stay at home this time as he is being naughty, stalking birds in the garden. Hasn't caught any though. Just making a batch of pancakes on my new griddle so will bring a few dozen with me, plus some highland honey.

I must say though, I enjoyed the programme and am going to look for a Middle East or eastern cruise next year.
