Gally Good to know that you are smiling. That's such a bonus for we Granspals who care.
It is blowing a bitter cold wind, and although there is thick snow on the islands, we haven't had any - yet.
Agus Bobby's photograph arrived safely. What breed is he?
LizG ...last time I looked, you were still snuggled down in your sleeping bag. I had to tempt Rory away [from joining you] with a tasty morsel of chicken.
Tortoiseshell kitten was outside and waiting for breakfast long before I awoke today. MacSporran saw her and went outside wearing his fleece top over jimjams. He returned to bed with a cup of tea, and at that point, Rory joined us. I have taken a photo of them and will add it to the album this afternoon.

in bed this morning and Tortoiseshell cat [who had been fed by MacSporran] was grooming herself seated on top of the log store. Deep in the forest we spied lady pheasant making her way down to help clear up some of the bird seed. She spotted Tortoiseshell and stood very still before turning around and running off through the undergrowth. In a flash, Tortoiseshell was almost upon her. The cat sprang up and the bird took flight. It was a very close thing.
) because I've heard you when you all get together!
