Husband today was muttering about a woman we know who is in her mid-fifties, but is still very much a 'party animal' and generally behaves like a teenager. He said "She has three lovely daughters, she should be glad enough to find contentment in looking after her family, and if she wants excitement she can, you know, go on Gransnet like you!"
Jokes aside, I suspect he is very pleased of the times I happily browse the forums and leave him in peace to watch the footie (and updating him with edited versions from time to time!)
Thank you GN forum friends for the company.
I think. a "virtual party book" should be written best seller I reckon lol (of course it would be for over 18s only due to the goings on)!! 49 Shades of GN I can see it on the 2nd shelf now lol
...and does anyone remember thatbags being found slumped slumbering on some dog or other, the morning after, by the cleaner? She thought that the dog was a furry rug. It was extremely good natured. The pub has since closed down. That particular party made front page in the Sun [I think!] [
pogs funny!
And you lot all make me laugh with the parties, I better get out of the kitchen (Soop's Kitchen) and into some of the bars! Maybe once I'm retired later this year At the moment I can barely keep up with the "normal life" threads LOL.
Hi palliser65 good to meet you.
But charleygirl I'm shocked!!
anno a while ago in one of my posts I had to explain that whilst I was led on the beach at Blackpool, sunning myself with one of my inflatable friends (could only fit one on the back of the bike)..I glanced up and there he was!! floating out to see, slowing deflating (poor thing he was never the same after the Halloween party)!! had a few punctures(some of the revellers) no names mentioned got a bit shall we say "rough" with him! but I have a new friend now Eric
Our very first party - Halloween on Pendle Hill was pretty memorable. That's when the broomsticks made their first appearance and whatever happened to your inflatable friends, biker? What was it who got arrested?
!! horror! it seems I have missed a few parties !! I have lots
no more than that of catching up to do!!
What we got up to at Glastonbury would have made your OH's hair curl GN I never want to meet that Policeman again in all my life oh those vodka jellies have been the death of me at some of the parties,we must be due another one soon
Galen I couldn't attend. I heard that it was a blast!
One of the most memorable virtual parties that I can recall, was held in my room at Ross Hall [after hip surgery]...the place hasn't been the same since. What's more, the hip got well in next to no time.
gk Re. last sentence. Likewise.
