DD2 is expecting no 2 - due date 2nd October - really exciting time but also very stressful.
We live 90 miles away but DD is worried that there will be no-one to look after DGD if her MiL gets stuck on the M25, so guess who is driving round with a packed bag in the back of the car ready for the call?
Also, this Saturday is DD1's daughter's 5th birthday party (20 miles away in the wrong direction!) and I have been asked to make 40 cupcakes with 'flat' white icing and pink and purple stars. Fine, if I wasn't volunteering on Friday for a session that promises, in the words of my manager, to be like bedlam! Eek!
And, Dh will be no good to me as the football is a home derby and he and DS1 can't miss that!!
Still, I'm a woman - I'm sure I'll cope
