Well......what else could you call it? Staff still required.......must be able to work long hours and heat up glam's sausage rolls.......pay is weekly with a bonus on Saturday night.....grin

Sel Mon 22-Jul-13 23:05:30

Ana scousers? yes but pickled scouse, no. Surely this isn't cannibalism happening oop North. I'll wait for glamma to clear up this confusion. (Are any firemen missing?)

Pete Mon 22-Jul-13 23:01:45

All scousers are pickled.......on Giro Day.... grin

Ana Mon 22-Jul-13 22:47:55

Surely you've heard of scousers? Even darn sarf...? shock

Ana Mon 22-Jul-13 22:46:53

Pickled Scouse, Sel - an acquired taste, or so I'm told...hmm

Sel Mon 22-Jul-13 22:42:27

How sweet Pete paying homage to our advancing years with a smart T shirt competition. On a chilly day I can still do wet thank you.

Glamma a pan of scouse and beetroot?? This does not sound like a sophisticated bar nibble like wot we'd have in London. Locally sourced sausage with herbs yes, but scouse? I'm peckish though and very grateful. Mmmmmmmm. What on earth is it?

Pete Mon 22-Jul-13 21:44:01

No it's in the Premier Inn....now that Lenny Henry has gone....there's loads of room......
Winner only...I'll be next door if you the winner requires anything in the night.....hmm

Ana Mon 22-Jul-13 21:42:02

Only the one hair, glamma? grin

glammanana Mon 22-Jul-13 21:30:15

Overnight accommodation where ? in that manky hammock and us wearing our posh frocks/hairdo's a night at Travel Lodge at least they do a late booking for £27 no questions asked.hmm do not ask me how I know that I just do grin I'm away now got to wash the hair and get some zzzz's see you all soon glamma x

Pete Mon 22-Jul-13 21:22:47

To cover the Bermuda triangle.......

Ana Mon 22-Jul-13 21:20:16

A pair of Bermuda shorts....grin

Pete Mon 22-Jul-13 20:59:33

...not a bad idea........what's the prize? hmm

Ana Mon 22-Jul-13 20:27:08

And a 'Knobbly Knees' competition for the men...hmm

Pete Mon 22-Jul-13 20:11:07

Great idea glam
If I'd suggest something like that the raised eyebrows would have gone into overtime!

Not sure fancy dress would work....have a look in the snug! But a glamourous Grandmother smart T-shirt competition would be ideal.........just as thunderstorms are due!!
Yes free drinks for the winner....and overnight accommodation (if required!)

glammanana Mon 22-Jul-13 18:19:49

Can we have a glamourous Grandmother competition and we could all get done up with our best frocks and fab hairdo's that will attract the men in uniform I bet ?? or a fancy dress competition will bring in the punters I'm sure pete offer a days free drinks for the winner you will clean up grin

Pete Mon 22-Jul-13 17:39:16

Hello Goose....you fallen off the wagon again...........or is that frock in need of a quick rinse.....hmm

Bad news....they came and took the pool away shock ....well it was on free trial ....so laydees you will have to think of something else to get 'Fireman Sams' attention....grin

glammanana Mon 22-Jul-13 09:07:10

Hi Goose nice to see you it has been quiet here all week-end I think I can here some regulars in the cellar and a mans voice maybe the missing fireman !! grin I'm dropping in some goodies for the customers for nibbles, meat pies/some nice sausages for hot dogs/oh and a pan of scouse & beetroot just fancy a bowl of stew even though it is warm out there, puts hairs on your chest.hmm
Off to Liverpool now with DD going on The Ferry so we will have a sing-song grin

One of my first cars was an MGB GT cream, hard top/soft top. I loved that car, it was a classic then, hard suspension felt like yer bum was inches from the ground! even thou it broke down regularly every month!took me another 15 yrs to have it restored. Still have it n love it. Life is short enjoy the perks! grin

Pete Mon 22-Jul-13 00:17:37

Pete Sun 21-Jul-13 23:11:33

glammanana Sun 21-Jul-13 19:53:09

glammanana Sat 20-Jul-13 23:37:50

Oh phoenix lucky you have your got the silk headscarf for top-down days or are you going to let the wind through your hair (like in the adverts) I wish my top came off (not in that way big ears as she points to the barman)my little Audi has a hard top couldn't afford a soft one so so envyenvy
Speaking of hard tops why is the firemans helmet floating in the pool is he still locked in the cellar ? better go and get him some food I don't mind going down there and feeding him blush

Pete Sat 20-Jul-13 21:27:22

Ana Sat 20-Jul-13 20:39:24
