Royal baby name predictions here please.

I like Louis and Alexander. I doubt they will use a name that has already been used by their relatives.

It's George Alexander Louis.

It's just flashed up in the corner of my screen. I think its a really good choice. They copied Alexander from my DGS's second name.

The Louis will be for Louis Mountbatten. Obviously George for the old (well, not old) king. But Alexander? Is that just choice? (very nice though)

Oh I like it. My dad was called George [well, his name was Albert but mum called him George].

So the name is George, Alexander, Louis, we know the sex, the weight, we had a glimpse of his head and now we know the name. Good luck to them and hope they have a happy family life they do seem a nice young couple, but please that's enough for the time being!!!

We shorten my GS's Alexander to 'xander.

Perhaps it's a nod to the Scots. (I think it's a Scottish name)

Or to the Greeks! (Alexander the Great)

My great nephew is George. There were 3 mediaeval Scottish kings named Alexander. That will be the Scottish connection.

Louis is one of Charles' names too, after Mountbatten, so maybe they are naming George after his granddad.
