Babies didn't do that in my day!

Persephone Grace (Persie) is 13+ weeks and is, apparently, having a 'wonder week' confused

In case you are wondering grin what that is, it is when they break their usual routine and wake a lot, refuse to feed etc etc. It is a recognised phenomenon that happens aroungd Persie's age.

And, I don't remember boys having a testosterone surge around 6 either they just seemed to get boisterous and more aggressive.

When did it all change!

I never knew that! Whatever will they come up with next. Unfortunately the terrible twos still exist...as my GD demonstrates rather noisily!

I'd like DH to have a 'wonder week' if it meant he'd wake up more and eat less hmm

A 'wander week' would be nice as well then I wouldn't have to walk the dogs every day. grin

I do not remember my DC or DGC ever have a week when they refused to feed!!

Neither absendtdaughter nor any of the five absent grandchildren ever refused to feed when they were babies except when they were ill. They did have growth spurts when they were hungrier than usual. Whatever would the natural purpose of a baby naturally not feeding? Sounds like a load of rubbish to me.

The only thing that changed my sons' routines was teething. That did occasionally put them off their food and certainly disturbed their (and our) sleep.

Kitty My DGS apparently came up with all these strange new sleep cycles according to his mum. Something called a four month sleep regression. Mine did not know anything about that.

Babies nowadays spend too much time Googling impressive syndromes so they can show parents who is in charge. grin

I haven't seen that is it online? I doubt if he has seen it.
I do have a photo of him "reading" a Dutch version of a "Miffy" book at about 4mnths . Very talented he is. It was just a literary taster for him. and it made an interesting crinkly noise as he stuffed it into his mouth.
