Well done to your DGC - even if it has proved expensive for you!
It is difficult when family is so far away. I don't have grandchildren but all my immediate family are in Australia and it is when things happen that I feel the distance. In your case you probably wanted to give your DGC big hugs for getting their words right. In my case when my brother was recently diagnosed with cancer I just wanted to give him a big hug and let him know I am there for him (I am a cancer survivor myself). My mother is also in Australia and as she is now 87 I worry that when her time comes I won't be able to be there with her.
Fed up of poor service from companies.
