Mr soop saw the 11' snowdrifts when in the convoy [led by a snow plough] into Tarbert. He didn't have the camera with him. Such a pity. He said that he'd never seen anything quite like it. It was, for a time, one way traffic...single lane, which took ages to cover the distance of 14 miles. En route to Campbeltown, this morning, we counted 16 Scottish Electric heavyweight vehicles and vans. Those engineers have done a stirling job in restoring the power to so many homes.
