Lil's Bar 5

Are you sure the job's taken, Pete? Surely you could give Goose a personal interview.....I'm sure she'd be only too willing to show you her moves! Don't take no for an answer, Goose!

well, they said it was beef I'd won but I have noticed that Fred's old piebald's been missing for a while. Right, when do I start as the new barmaid then? I could nip over the bar now and practice a few pump pulls?

Ana The shortlist has been drawn...NO more applicants needed.....no offence Goose....

If your stuck.. I'm sure Fred could do with a few pump pulls....

Gizza job......................

It's a blooming short shortlist with only one person on it, aint it? Sounds like a fix to me. Pete, what you need behind the bar in this place is a curvy, big haired, buxom blonde bombshell, who doesn't live too far away and can climb through toilet kitchen windows if there's a lock-in or out, who can pull a pint with a big head on (saves beer that way). I know just the person

OK Goose..........you can be 'relief barmaid'

Ella your on the shortlist already...

Cor blimey! Can I really? Can I really be relief barmaid Pete? I've never been a relief barmaid before. I'm just going to nip up to the Butcher's Arms and tell Fred and the others (you can leave my 'perks of the job' two pints of Scotch and Soda behind the bar for me

Perks come after you've done some work...Oh and Fred is still barred....

When I told Fred I was doing a relief job for Pete and he barred me from the Butcher's Arms

Thanks Pete xxxx

Right LIL has decided that Ella is Head Barmaid Goose you are relief barmaid when Ella asks you to help out......and as Lil has just 'done one' to Spain for a week, and football on every night next week!, you should both be busy.

Pint please.......

Both busy looking after you, you mean, Pete?

I can expect a large pay rise then for being 'Head', ok................drinks are on the house..............anyone for a large one?

Ana, can you help yourself, and just give the tables a wipe with that rag on the floor please.........the pink one with sequins.....yes.......

Pete stop ripping that beer mat..........and can you put some logs on the fire.............you know how cold it can get in the 'games room'

Your application was 'overlooked' by Lil....Ana

Huh! I'm not that desperate hard-up, Pete - I'll just watch from the sidelines and tell everyone where they're going wrong...

Can you start with me please Ana?

Certainly, Ella - hand in your notice at once!

Tomorrow night, for one night only.....--haha that's what they think-- Fireman Sam is back with his Chopper and Hose!

Anyone who wants a ticket, just put the money in my tip jar............

Hope you've got your crutch handy, Ella!

Ana not til my tip jar's full

My crutch is redundant now Ana

[horror]!

But it was well used! [grin[
