Lets all build a snow man.

Well, Frank, you will be happy to know that we have two snowmen in our garden - the first was made a week ago when my DGS came for the day, and the second was made on Sunday when DD, DGS and my DH had a wonderful time in the garden. We live near to Glass and she is right, we could definitely make a Newcastle United team in our garden. I think we have had about a foot of snow over the last week.

Hmm...it's not quite clear how he did it though. Taking a rug for a drag?

Frozen water is good for cleaning rugs??

It would probably have to be a reclining snowman, unless someone had access to a hoist-type-thing on a tractor.

If everybody built a snowman it will thaw slower so it may help to prevent flooding.

Ana I think it would slow down the thawing process, as I have often seen snowmen still standing surrounded by a field of green. (A metaphorical field, it could have just been a front lawn)

We have tons of snow. You're not seriously thinking I can prevent flooding by building thousands of snowmen?....Please say you're not [crying emoticon]
