On Thursday I was rushed into a local hospital for a suspected heart attack, I was then transferred by ambulance on blues and twos to another hospital 15 miles away where they had a cardiac unit. After a couple of traumatic days in hospital, where I have had superb nursing care, an Angiogram (my arteries were clear) I have been diagnosed with Myopericarditis, for which they are treating with medication (Steroids and Paracetomol. I am home now and gently recovering. No heavy physical activity for ten to fourteen days.
There is no fun getting chest pains EdV, I'm well on the way to full recovery, and will soon be on full time work once I have used some of my annual leave up. Thanks to all once again. for all.
A bit harshEdV ? Glad you redeemed yourself by sending Ian42 good wishes though. Good news that things are moving in the right direction Ian42 - keep well!
On Wednesday I had the all clear from the Heart Doctor. There was no damage to my heart and the scan and ecg were clear. Resume normal life with one lesson learned, TAKE IT EASY.
