As time is galloping on could you please add your name to the thread if you are coming to gally's on the 3rd of October. Then we can talk about the catering once we have established who is coming.
Can I be a bit cheeky and budge in on this thread to float out a thought.....?
Having never been to Scotland, I was delighted to accept my youngest daughter's invitation to accompany her on a business trip to Edinburgh. She knows the city well and has promised me I'll love it!
We're flying up a couple of days in advance to do some touristy things and we're staying at the Grassmarket Hotel which I believe is fairly central. On Monday 29th October when my daughter is attending her meetings, I'll have a few hours to myself to browse and potter. So I was wondering if anyone lived very locally and would like meet up for coffee? I appreciate that it's very short notice...hope it was ok to ask!
Thanks soop just got mine too.Was a bit wary as to what it was as it had 'open carefully' on the back and a postcode I didn't recognise. Was half expecting something scary to leap out...nice surprise instead!
Sorry to hear that you've been poorly. Hope that you're recovering. My friends never need to visit the naughty corner. You'll need to stiffen the back of the markers. Sorry, didn't have anything suitable at the time.
Oops! Sorry Soop, have been a bit poorly recently and must have missed this request for addresses. Have done it now - can I come out of ht enaughty corner please?
soop thank you so much for my lovely bookmark which I shall treasure. Hope your hospital trip went well and sending best wishes to GillieB for a speedy resolution of your problem
Dear GillieB...bless you. Gallstone pain is sheer agony. Whenever I suffered it, I thought that I was having a crushing heart attack. Morphine was the only thing that dealt with the pain. My gall bladder was removed 13 years ago. I've 22 gallstones in a wee jar! Luckily, I've had no further problems in that area. I'm sending positive vibes and trusting that your problems will be dealt with as a matter of urgency. Much love
Oh that's awful GillieB, so sorry to hear you are so poorly. I hope you can get it sorted asap and that you are feeling a lot better soon. When you are well, we'll have to get together for lunch (glass too, and maybe absent, harri and jane?). Stay in touch and keep us up to date.
