Having never been to Scotland, I was delighted to accept my youngest daughter's invitation to accompany her on a business trip to Edinburgh. She knows the city well and has promised me I'll love it!
We're flying up a couple of days in advance to do some touristy things and we're staying at the Grassmarket Hotel which I believe is fairly central. On Monday 29th October when my daughter is attending her meetings, I'll have a few hours to myself to browse and potter. So I was wondering if anyone lived very locally and would like meet up for coffee? I appreciate that it's very short notice...hope it was ok to ask!

Dear GillieB...bless you. Gallstone pain is sheer agony. Whenever I suffered it, I thought that I was having a crushing heart attack. Morphine was the only thing that dealt with the pain. My gall bladder was removed 13 years ago. I've 22 gallstones in a wee jar! Luckily, I've had no further problems in that area. I'm sending positive vibes and trusting that your problems will be dealt with as a matter of urgency. Much love
