Somewhat topical this: many years ago when topless sunbathing was a 'new thing', a friend and I decided to indulge - on Dawlish Beach - whilst our little children played in the sand. As we lay there feeling very liberated, two little bodies came and stood over us blocking out the sun. Our sons. Mine (the cheeky one) said, "Mum - your bosoms have bust!"
On another occasion, at a Parents' evening I was fondly reading his compositions pinned on the board in the classroom. He wrote, "On Christmas morning my brother and I went in to see if Mum was awake but she was asleep, so we went back to our rooms. A bit later we went into Mum's room again, but she was STILL drunk".
