Mine is finally getting a knitted teddy bear to look reasonable. I am hopeless at faces on any toy I knit. These little teddies looked so easy, but the first two I made are currently starring in their own Horror Movie called "How to terrify a Child."

Walked over to the disused golf course round the corner and had a lunchtime picnic by the pond with my daughter and two of my grandchildren, not one other person in sight we ate salad rolls and fruit , we watched the aircraft taking off from the RAF station nearby.. a nice memory to store away..

You'd need a bendy straw for the vodka pouches in your bra.

glassortwo Sat 26-May-12 20:36:39

elegran I might have managed that 40 years ago, but there's not much room in there these days grin

glassortwo - can you remember where you were exactly. French or Swiss Jura?
Very unknown generally by British tourists generally. If any of you are ever in the area, do get in touch so we can meet up for coffee or lunch.

glassortwo Sat 26-May-12 21:21:31

It was French and we were Euro camping, will have to put my thinking cap on as it was 25 years ago, it was a fantastic holiday lovely area.

glassortwo Sat 26-May-12 21:38:57

granjura I think it was beside Lac de Chalin, we went on the train down to (would it have been) Lake Geneva? My memory is not what it was , it was a holiday to remember, we were there in June and we had very hot weather and one day hailstones like golf balls and it dinted in my new car shock

granjura Sat 26-May-12 21:48:11

We are going up to the house for most of the Bank Holiday weekend to get some work done and have just spoken to farmer next door. We have just had an invite to the village Jubilee celebrations, been told to take my dancing shoes, so that was a lovely surprise smile
