I'm delighted for you gally. I flew out to meet both my grandkids two weeks after they were born (USA) and stayed for a month. Those cuddles had to last me for a while, so get your fill. Best thing you can spend your money on.

....I have taken the plunge and booked flights to Sydney - I only went in to ask and came out 10 minutes later with a much reduced bank account! I'm going the week before the baby is due in mid-July so I can have at least 7 weeks to get to know him/her and be of help with the others. Just have to get my head around this new e-visa on line.

I'm just sitting. Window cleaner has arrived,now waiting for hairdresser then cleaner,lastly Gary her husband to do some little jobs! Friday is my day off work but it seems the busiest as everyone knows I'm always home!

Yes Annobel ...where does the time go? Why is it that I always seem to end up with cold coffee when I check out GN ...after all, I'm only here for a few minutes!!

Oh, good heavens, almost 10.30 and I've been messing about on the laptop for ages. Must get off my backside and fill the drier (the weather looks uncertain) and the dishwasher and do some ironing. Exhausting life, isn't it?

nanachrissy, have a lovely day. This weekend I will see four of my GC and one of them will meet me at the station as their new house is close by. A thrill for her to be allowed to do this and a thrill for me to see her big smile waiting for me.

Am having a day with my baby gd, and hoping she is in a good mood as I didn't sleep well and feel shattered already!

Hi everyone. Good morning.
I woke at 5.30, but that's not too bad. Went back to bed to finish my book.
Pottering round, got up, breakfast, until the doorbell rang and man delivered two heaters I ordered last week...much quicker delivery than last time, when I was ringing them (Cooper's) a month later.

SO (moan coming) I put the first one together and it was fine.
The second one, there is sonething wrong with. I can't put the base on, something is either out of place or it has had a bash on the way.
I HATE complaining.
But I will ring them later..............
