Good morning everyone.....sunshine

Welcome to Volume 4 of this popular thread.

I have been on Hamish duty since he came home yesterday only 20 hours old. His poor mummy, DD3, had such a quick labour (1 hour 8 minutes) that she is now stitched from here to next week and has damaged her coccyx and can hardly move. She is hoping to see an osteopath tomorrow who should be able to realign it. Hamish is so cute and tiny - I can hold him in one hand. smile

What a lovely way to spend the day pompa. Sorrento is beautiful sunshine

Spent today wandering around Sorrento eating, drinking and watching the world go by. Last day of our holiday, back to Blighty tomorrow. Hope the sun will follow us back, from what I see, the garden should have had enough rain for a while.

Dear Gally HAMISH JOHN CURTIS has come into the world. I'm delighted for you and your family. Your John would have loved sharing his arrival with you. Hamish will be carrying John's genes. How special is that smile. Hamish is my favourite Scottish name. And Curtis is my maiden name. The same name has been chosen for boy babes in our family. Have a wonderful time. Cuddle wee Hamish to your heart's content. sunshine smile flowers

It's a boy - 8 days early! I flew south last night as planned and got the news just before I boarded the plane. Hamish John Curtis weighed in at 7.4lbs after a very traumatic birth for DD3 (3cms dilated and born 8 minutes later - ouch). Can't wait to see him this afternoon. How proud his Grandad would have been - I feel happy and sad at the same time.
