Roughly 95% of charities support people one way or another, whether it's churches, medical research, homelessness, etc, etc. Important stuff all, but still the environment that all those people depend on gets relatively little support.
I'm a looking for a charity or charities that focus on the environment and global warming. What I'm interested in is ones that have measurable outcomes. It's hard to judge the success of a charity that (for example) advocates for forest preservation? Does their work actually change anything? It's difficult for the average person to tell.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
