Disappointing read

A friend just lent me Never Greener by Ruth Jones of Gavin & Stacey fame. I was really disappointed it was a very detailed account of an affair with absolutely loads of unnecessary swearing. The plot was weak and the characters unlikeable. I found it very boring in parts too. I expected better from her. Don't recommend it at all.

I started it but wasnt enjoying it at all - given it to a friend to see what she makes of it!

I only read the first chapter. Like you, I was not impressed with the amount of swearing.
