Ginny hello
Thank you. The one thing about the van is my girl would roar with laughter and tell me not to change to a car but go right up to the Cathedral in the van.
The mayor has written to me and the head of housing for the county council phoned me this morning, she said my daughter was a difficult councillor to deal with, if she was asked for help for housing she didn't give housing dept any peace , then the council officer in charge of parks etc phoned and said it was her determination as secretary of the housing estate association to have the estate playing field for the children that won the day. Had a phone call off a lady I don't know who told me my girl had met her in town one morning took her shopping off her, walked her back to her home , unpacked the shopping, made her a cuppa and gave her a hug, the poor woman was feeling very down that morning , she didn't know my daughter until then. My daughter gave her the days of coffee mornings and afternoon teas for the elderly and the woman made new friends. Now I have been informed a retired MP from the valleys and someone from the Welsh Assembly will accompany the mayor to the funeral. Quite overwhelming now, but I just want her here .
