I'm looking forward to warmer weather but I'm late 60s and my arms are wrinkly and saggy. I love the sun on my skin but I am genuinely embarrassed by my arms now.
I am in my eighties and feel lucky to be able to go for a walk let alone worry about how my arms look. There is so much that could be wrong that looking my age isn’t one of them. So go forth with a smile and a cheery disposition and no one will care about your arms.
So called bingo wings (I hate that its so belittling) are your triceps and yes exercise can help if you want. 10 minutes www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZfcMoytgoA
My upper arms are absolutely fine, no bingo wings however, my stomach…🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ (just turned, 70)… hip, measurement, and waist measurement are the same, and have been for years actually…🤷♀️
Good to read. Because, as said,at our age, where would you stop if you started ...
Don't like mine either, but last year, I did wear sleeveless Ts in the garden and in informal places, but covered up when 'in public'. But I did get into the habit of doing 100 arm circles, with palms up and palms down, every morning, and it did make quite a difference. Must start again.
I couldn't care less what you want to call them - but there's only one cure for mine, and that's a knife.
How many times will you do it. And where do you stop- eyelids, lips, boobs, and on and on.
If you'd read my follow-up post, you'd have seen that I would never contemplate cosmetic surgery of any kind. I'm merely pointing out that nothing else would fix mine.
I hate my arms now I’m in my late 60’s but when the weather turns warm I live in sleeveless tops & dresses. I hate being bundled up in winter clothes and look forward to feeling comfortable in the warm sunny weather. I find Nivea cocoa body butter is good for moistening my (very) dry skin. I don’t much care what people think.

I am as I am. I look like an old woman. I am an old woman. Best thing is simply to ignore your imperfections. The more you seem embarressed by them, the more people will notice them, If you ignore them, no one else will notice.
Yes luck of the draw, but all we can do is moisturise and keep hydrated 😀 You are so lucky. I have pale Northern European skin which is prone to wrinkle. However my DM is still alive at 98!

I disagree MOnica. Ignoring something doesn’t mean nobody will notice it. I may be in my 70s, but I do my best, without looking like mutton, to make the best of myself rather than ignore something that might be better covered up. I may be an old woman but have no desire to look like one.
Really Blondie You’d put yourself through cosmetic surgery if you had them? pascal whatever you use for your skin external or internal, mostly the condition is down to either sun exposure or genes.
Yes Farzanah you could be correct my mum always had beautifully unwrinkled skin

No, I'd never put myself through any kind of cosmetic surgery, but my arms are honestly so horrific that that's the only thing which would sort them. I have absolutely no body confidence anyway, and yes, I have not only seen people staring at them but also heard comments about them, which has only made me feel even worse about myself.

I'm with you too! Just bought my first long sleeved evening dress for formal dos. It's certainly saving me money - anything without sleeves is Out straight away. I'm hoping I'll get used to this 'ol body. Just when I was beginning to get used to all the other differences in being older.
I always use Faith in Nature products.. soap, shower gel and body lotion and don't have any dry.wrinkly skin at aged 70. Also take high dose fish oils which help.. but I do have the dreaded floppy upper arms so in spring/summer I invariably cover them with linen or cotton shirts.. not in the garden or on the beach..Sun is so wonderful..
