Advice to the younger generation.

Don't smoke. Look after your teeth. Be yourself, don't get involved in toxic people. Cultivate an honest way of communicating without confrontation.

Our advice is probably way out of date - so take your pick but bear that in mind.

My offering? Don't miss out and be a 'coulda, woulda, shoulda' - just do!

Use today to learn from the mistakes made yesterday to influence a better tomorrow.

Sleep on it. Don't make rushed decisions.

No advice as we all have to learn by our own mistakes. It's only when you get older and look back you think if only I knew then want I do know but it wouldn't change anything . You can't put the clocks back or change who you are. Without mistakes you don't learn. You do get wiser as you get older. But it's only by making mistakes young you learn that.

Anyway the younger me would never have thought things that have happened in my life would happen.

Just life your life to the full mistakes and all.

I wouldn’t dream of giving them advice they are twice as clued up as I was, I was green as grass a bd wouldn’t want to take advice I slept walked into a marriage because I was so ‘in love’ and blind to being able to be a strong woman in my own right When one of my granddaughters was recently dumped by a boyfriend (they had been friends for years before moving to a relationship) about a week later he said I ve made a big mistake can we try again She said never you had your chance (I d have been grateful and gone trotting back)

Even as a journalist have some scruples would be my advice.

Trust your gut feeling and if you go out with friends go home with friends always never go it alone.

Couldn’t hand out advice. I wouldn’t listen when I was young and I am sure most wouldn’t now. You got to work it all out yourselves.

If you could offer any advice to younger people such as myself, what would you say?

Sago If I could earn a pound for every time I find it harder and harder to distinguish a realistic body from the airbrushed ones presented in the media, I would be a billionaire by now.

Most of the time it is usually influencers who do things like alter how they look, but there are kids as young as 12 feeling bad about how they look because they can't live up to the aesthetics of Instagram or Twitter.

Enjoy yourself but live within your means

Don’t sweat the small stuff. Try very very hard not to worry because most of what seems insurmountable generally turns out to be meaningless.

If you spend more time on social media than you do talking to real people, you’ve already got problems.
