Heated clothes dryers

I usually dry my washing over an old fashioned wooden clothes horse but am trying not to turn the heating on too much with the result that it takes ages to dry. I am thinking of buying a heated clothes dryer. Has anyone bought one? Would you recommend it?

I love my compact one bought from Aldi. Because it is quite small, I so smaller loads of washing, and I have to adjust the washing e.g. turn thick items over. On the whole, it's a boon.

I bought the Lakeland one years ago for a dd - still going strong - with 3 small children she uses it a lot when it’s too wet for line drying. It will dry even jeans overnight.
