I thought it already was, but perhaps I’m out of date.

Only if your diagnosis says you will die in the next 12 months midgey if you are given 13 months to live you join the queue and wait.

"Terminally ill people who are expected to live longer than twelve months are being excluded by the Government from special rules enabling fast-tracking of applications. Claims can take months and when you’re diagnosed the last thing you need is a fight to get your benefits."

There's a petition taking off asking that anyone given a diagnosis of terminal illness should be fast-tracked for any benefits they need. I think it should just be automatic. Here's the petition petition.parliament.uk/petitions/613198
