Another covid question, sorry

My husband is going for his booster on Monday.
He got an appointment letter for a cardioversion in the post today, it's on Friday and must take a covid test on Tuesday.
Will this test show positive for covid antibodies from the booster? I think he should postpone the booster till next week but he disagrees.

The Covid test doesn't test for antibodies. If it's a PCR it tests for viral nucleic acid, and if lateral flow, tests for viral proteins. So if he gets a booster, he can't get a positive Covid test (unless he actually has it!)

Just to reassure you, I have had all my boosters and Covid but my PCR tests came back negative so I was able to have my op.
