PMQs - is it make or break today?

.... for Keir Starmer, QC?

If he doesn't nail Boris Johnson today at PMQs with all that's going on, almost too many disasters to list, then he should make way for someone else.

Ironic that I'm thinking of the end of Starmer rather than Johnson.

Actually I think it’s perfectly possible for the PM to not know
( on the night of 18th Dec) that there would be drinks etc for the staff if he wasn’t there.It’s not a nine to five job there, there are lots of staff and lots of rooms.
As I said earlier, if he did know about it or gave it his blessing then that’s another matter.
It’s not a question of lack of critical thinking ....it’s simply a possibility that the staff decided they were going to have drinks together that night.
If he has lied about knowing then it will come out, there are no end of leaks, but hating Johnson and wanting him to have to resign ( just because you want it) isn’t critical thinking either.

Dickens this Conservative has critical thinking skills as do many others. Which is why some of us are dismayed at the infighting of the Labour Party.

A strong Country needs a strong government and an equally strong opposition, neither of which are evident in the U.K. at this time.

... I wish posters would direct their comments to the individual who actually said they didn't have critical-thinking ability confused... it was me who challenged the idea. And I'm not a Conservative voter...

I agree with you about the in-fighting within the Labour party and from what I can see it's destined to continue, rendering the party unelectable.

The infighting in the Labour part is nothing compared to the infighting in the Conservative party at the moment. To me the shadow cabinet look like a government in waiting made up of proper grown up people.

What would you class as 'strong opposition' GG13?

Perhaps you could give us some examples of what you think a 'strong opposition' would be doing right now?
