Just how stupid can people be?

The older I get the less I cease to be amazed by some people's stupidity. Although, once in a while, I see or hear something that leaves me incredulous.

Maybe they were desperate? I know it's a funny story but I can imagine if you had been desperate for fuel you might follow a likely tanker. It detracts from the very real problems we have just now.

Absolutely stupid I thought as I read the article too. Any one with an ounce of sense knows tankers with dangerous chemicals/gases on board display a disk showing what they are. There were about 20 vehicles following the tanker on the motorway until turning off onto the road for the building site.

Another example of stupidity, and looking forward to any witticisms Laura and Lucca or anyone else can create: we are plagued in Bristol with the daft use of e-scooters. Recently spotted was someone on one of these, actually in the outside lane of the M32! Complete with a passenger....

My dd was telling me about her local Facebook group. Someone had posted a rant about anti-social behaviour by kids in the local park and commented that ‘the little sh*ts should be birched’.

In the responses someone said ‘Do you know where your own little sh*t was last night? Because I can tell you - he was in the park, behaving anti-socially with all his pals.’

Ranting Man replied ‘How dare you call my son a little sh*t?’ and then a general free-for-all broke out online. My dd said it was most entertaining! ?

Stupid is as stupid does goes the saying. All their tanks contain now is hot air, wonder if they got home. Hope the tanker driver got help, and reported them to police.

Mortar the point he should have come up with a concrete proposal for signage on lorries.

Out today driving between Abingdon and Reading. Every petrol station I went past was open and carless.

Quite relieved as I need to top up on Tuesday for a 200 mile round trip Wednesday/Friday. I last visited a petrol station in early September,as we have been on holiday for a fortnight.

We need people like this, otherwise there’d be nothing to talk about on gransnet?
