Yes, they love humid atmospheres, so if you can air your bathroom after showering, and use an extractor fan when cooking, that will help. Check you haven't got a leak anywhere. They are also rumoured to love starch, so check out your kitchen cubboards!

I’ve noticed the occasional silverfish in the kitchen, bathroom and shower room. Is it water they are attracted to? How can I get rid of them please ?
