How old are you in your head?

Maybe 25ish.....(but grateful to been through menopause )
Sometimes my 35 year old son seems so much older than me

I was wondering how old the rest of us feel

Think of yourself as a tree whereby they count the number of bark rings, whereas in your case you could count the number of bags under your eyes.!
Sometimes they disappear as the day wears on; sometimes they don't!.

I feel only slightly younger than 73. Sometimes, especially when doing surveys or filling in forms, I put "73" and think Blimey, I'm old!

I don't mind being old one bit. I've no desire to go back to any previous decade - I'm probably happier now than at any other time in my life.

So, Older and Bolder for me.

Some days early 30s, some days 18, then i wake up

About 40 ish - that's when life was quite good - in parts. I now feel ashamed of how I look, of how old I am...…...

In my head around 25 but really old enough to know better but too old to care.

About 11 every morning until I get out of bed.

Since I was 30 I had always, in my head, felt 10 years younger than my actual age. Now at 67 perhaps it's down to 5 or 6 years as the tiredness creeps up by the end of the day.

Wish I knew how people did that feeling younger in their head thing. It must be so weird being able to shut off the mental load of decades of experience and learning so that one feels like an ignorant* teenager again.

* using the word literally as in not knowing, not as in bigoted or stupid.

In my head, I am as old as the old bloke in the mirror. I am quite active but I would be kidding myself if I thought I could still do what I could 50 (even 5 years) ago. There are compensations. I am, of course, now immensely wise! ?

105 at the moment, I am moving house!

Same as Lulu but I feel like 30ish ? I wish I looked as good as she does.

I don't think my personality has really changed since my mid-twenties/ early thirties, and that's how old I still feel in my head.

Some days 16 other days 100. Today is one of those.

I'm the same age as Lulu too.

Maybe not 16, about thirty perhaps, wouldn’t really want to go back to 16!

About 35, old enough to know better, young enough to kid myself. On a good day!

Same here around same age as Lulu and I feel 18!
