When I'm gone...

I'm sure how I would like to be remembered is very different from how I will be.

Being Weird & hopefully - wonderful!

I’ve just spent an hour on you tube looking for the Dave Allen story about his Dad but got side tracked and there were too many clips to watch them all. But still just as funny!

When his Dad was dying he said to him
“Son, I’m a bastard”. DA disagreed and asked him why he said that. The response was that when he first died everyone would say wonderful things about him but after a while someone was bound to say “Your Dad was a bastard”. He wanted him to look them in the eye and say “Yes, I know. He told me so himself!”

A lovely lady who was always kind and listened to others.

I would like to be remember fondly as a caring person, loving to my family & a fun person to be with.

I would also like to be remembered for my sense of humour, quirky & sometimes rude, also for my laugh

To always have time for a friend, no matter what.

Kind and helpful, and ful of fun.

As a good mother and a fun Gran. I want to live long enough for my five grandchildren to really remember me. Youngest is 5 mths oldest is 8 yrs. when the first one was born I started a blog and for the past eight years I have written about my life past and present , my holidays and how I feel about things. Maybe I'll live long enough for them to read it with me but I hope they read it when I'm gone and like the person I was.

That I loved my family with all my heart, that I loved a good laugh, that I would do anyone a good turn if needed, had a shoulder to cry on if needed and a sympathetic ear.

For my integrity, honesty, principles, trustworthy, dependable, and never giving up, heck I sound great but I’m not lol

I’d like to be remembered as someone who was loyal kind caring and had a good sense of humour

I would like to be remembered in the ways my children and grandchildren pass on the values they learned from me. If they continue to be the kind, caring, thoughtful people they are now, it's remembrance enough.

I'd like to be remembered with love by my family, and by friends as a kind, thoughtful person, who was always a cheering presence.

Kindly I hope..... always tried to help my children... and my grandchildren. I’ve always done my best by my family . I hope that’s enough to be missed and remembered kindly.

I liked to be remembered for being caring , loving and for putting others before myself . I wouldn't want my family to be sad , I would want them to live life to the full . Life is for living .

I was no' saint'. I gave happiness made others sad I made mistakes but would like to think others will thing of me as 'doing my best.'

Just as a good mother, fun grandmother and reliable friend. Somebody who is nice to know.

that I did my best,fought against my difficult upbringing,my awful marriage,health problems from an early age.
I remained enquiring about life,I was a kind and loyal friend,but not a pushover,and best of all, a loving grandparent and parent.

That I was a nice person, someone who was more than happy to share and be generous with what I had as I always knew how very fortunate I was.

A survivor that somehow managed to retain a good sense of humour, was loyal to friends & family, trustworthy, good at keeping other people's secrets and still devoted to my better half of about 30 years and counting. I live a fairly simple life, only have a small family and a few close friends. I think I'd be satisfied if remembered at all.

That I lived respected and died regretted.

You sound like everyone's ideal friend.
Mine moved to Cheshire but we still meet up occasionally.
I'm sure those whose lives you've touched will never forget you.

Patient, understanding, trustworthy but NEVER a doormat!!! ?
