I must admit, not being very mobile at the moment, I do spend a lot of time on my smart phone mainly because I am not interested in the sort of programmes my husband has on the TV. Although most of the time he isnt watching the programme but playing games on his phone as does my son when he visits and then has the cheek to tell me I am stuck to my phone all the time. My desk top computer has come in handy in the last 3 months when I have been translating the results of all the scans I have had into English and printing them. The internet is a mine of information at our fingertips and I am sure we oldies use it as such maybe more than most young people who spend a lot of time playing games.
I looked at the pile of books sitting on the chest of drawers this morning and have decided that in the bedroom I will read a book instead of looking at my phone . Maybe my examole will encourage my DH to put his phone down too as his doctor has told him he should not use his phone in the bedroom as it is causing his difficulties in falling asleep.
