M and S Sparks Card

I have a card but do not seem to get any benefits apart from endless advertisements.Maybe because I rarely shop at M&S.

I have avoided having yet another card to clutter up my purse but in the end got myself a Sparks Card.

There were offers when I initially signed up and I chose a 10% discount. I thought this would be applied to my first two purchases however I have made about 5 purchases and am still getting a discount. Anyone else experienced this ?
