Updating the shower room

The loo and basin in our shower room looks very dated and we want to change them for something more modern but not too expensive.

Have any of you used Homebase, Wicks, John Lewis for your bathrooms ?

Any suggestions would kick start us into updating this small room.

DH would not allow them to wall hang the toilet, he said if it goes wrong it does it spectacularly ( 50 years working with ships ) so ours sit solidly on the floor. We have concealed cisterns and to date have not been any bother. The cistern in my en-suite is accessed via a panel where the two flush buttons are.
I think I have a photo which I can attach.
