Printing sewing patterns

Sadly I don't sew, but I have loved reading this thread. It is like a different, new language. I can understand how much pleasure must be gained from making your own clothes in good quality fabrics.

HelterSkelter1, I loved reading it through as well. My sewing efforts have never reached that level. When young, I just carefully followed a paper pattern. These days, I'll draw around a favourite top or dress, then add seam allowances - and try to copy darts if I can.

Over the last few days I have been watching on YouTube the V&A Fashion Unpicked series where garments in their collection are closely examined. Absolutely fascinating. Even for me a non sewer. So far I have watched several videos from Victorian to the 60s. And one current period discussing "gender fluid" designs and materials. So interesting.

simpson sweatshirt or sonny knit pants. I managed to avoid these as I am overflowing with patterns

Am just about to pin out M and M sanda, the cream cropped version. In good fabric as I know M and M patterns inside out now. I cut trousers 101 out last night, very very basic pants but I have been avoiding touser sewing. The crotch size seems far too big so I have taken off 2" both back and front crotch. Will be using toile fabric
