Catdigan!

I've always fought shy of steeking. I know it's easier to do fair isle in the round but the thought of taking scissors to my work is too scary.

I will do it one day though - maybe on a sample square.

I don't think I'm that good at knitting any more. I have done pictures and patterns years ago but not for a long time.

I just don’t have the temperament to do such painstaking work now, though I used to make my DC cardigans in 2ply yarn. Why? I ask myself.

PS I love cats too, but after our last one died we have been cat free. ?

The pattern is by a company called An Caitin Beag, who make lots of catty/crafty things.

Wow - very beautiful - and I know why it’s described as a caTdigan, up my poor befuddled brain is seizing up trying not to make it a caRdigan. ?‍?️

2ply baby garments last for ages - mainly because by the time I finished, the baby had grown so big it didn’t fit. ?

I go for more-or-less instant results nowadays.

Gorgeous pattern but I've never attempted steeking so would avoid that part.
