Just had to put on a cardigan!

My son is flying back from holiday tonight and I’ve messaged him to warn him to wrap up warm as they arrive back in the early hours!

I’m on the south coast in West Sussex. It still feels warm here but we did decide that we’d put the summer duvet back on the bed rather than just sleeping under a sheet.

North east England I’m ashamed to say I put the heating on this morning I was shivering.

I noticed the spectators at the cricket yesterday were well wrapped up (it had been raining as well). I’m heading north after the bank holiday - I have my winter woolies ready!

Not cardi wearing weather in London but am really glad we can now enjoy cooler temps, so if I need to wear a cardi I won’t complain.

I've just had three summer dresses delivered. I think they'll soon be packed away for next year. No cardi yet, but if I went outdoors I'd take a coat - it's rained on and off all day.

Yes Dylis, my OH said ‘shall I put on the heating?’ He was joking, at least I hope he was! 😳

Oh no, got at least another six weeks before we'd even contemplate putting the fire on, never mind the heating! And we're in Scotland!

I wore a summer jacket to town this morning. But by 11.30 the haze had cleared and the sun was shining. I was glad to get home by then, being too hot in the jacket.

It’s much cooler here in South-east Essex thank goodness.

We are on holiday in Devon and DH just asked what’s that noise? The rain!

I’ve had one on today, first time for many weeks.

We’ve had nice sunny days here in the north east of Scotland but no heatwaves. I’ve been wearing a cardi on and off for a couple of weeks.

We have a boutique in our little town, she must have had a great summer, always putting pictures on the Community page showing customers in their new summer dresses, skirts, tops etc. Great for business.
But today, I noticed her windows were full of (lovely) autumn clothing, trousers jumpers, cardis, ….
