No I didn't look at the 'Advert' I went to the home page to log in and it was there as a banner on the heading page of Gransnet !!

How bloody awful!

But, drizzly, something to celebrate!

Ha ha yes I suppose the drizzly bit, is good, the dullness isn't !

Passing us once on the motorway was a van transporting mattresses, advertised on the side of the van as The Ultimate Sleep Experience. My DH wondered why they didn't just call it Rest in Peace.....!

Its on mine too. Until your post, I hadn't even noticed it because I don't look at the adverts . Or the banners. or the side screens.

My side screen shows Jet 2 Holidays I approve of that. Just booked one for next summer.

I was looking at Jet2 Holidays and am now inundated with ads.

I have been composing a post, and was distinctly offended by an advert from Ann Summers picturing an unpleasant closeup of a female mouth containing something (?) dribbling down the chin. Every time I deleted it, it reappeared.

I never log out
So don't have to see those banner adverts.
Although I do keep having to reload which is annoying.
Tried following the instructions to avoid that happening but to no avail.
Doesn't happen on any other site.
MN is OK.
I go via chrome.
I think.

I would like to stay signed in but have facial recognition so have to do it every time. And sometimes I get the weird captcha security thingy where I have to tick pics with motorbikes in them etc.
Is so annoying.

I was once asked to leave an Ann Summers shop.
A group of us were having drinks at a lunchtime jazz club. The Ann Summers shop was just round the corner.
Rampant Rabbit had just come to the market. A friend was curious to have a look.
Having imbibed a few gins I went with her. 😂 We got the giggles so bad the manager asked us keep the noise down.
That didn’t help as she was very Po faced.
We couldn’t stop giggling and making jokes.
Serious manager approached and informed us that this was a serious establishment. That sent us into howls of laughter.
Then we were shown the door.
