Men wearing tights under shorts, AIBU

What is the problem? Why shouldn't they dress like this? It sounds practical and warm. Joggers are baggy and flap around.

Common apparel in the rowing fraternity. I'm at home with it. Nothing unusual about it at all.

Tights, I believe offer less wind resistance too, cyclists wear them sometimes, it doesn’t bother me, is inoffensive and not harming anyone.

DGS1’s junior football team all wear these. Except him. His mum’s from Newcastle, so it’s in the blood.

Why can’t people wear what they like? I really don’t think it’s any of my business how people choose to dress for their leisure activities.

My son ( rugby player and guilty of donning that combo) informs me the tights are a compression layer for warmth,circulation and recovery.

Up here in the chilly northern wastes they don’t bother with the leggings.
